We’re excited to announce that version 2.8 of our platform is on its way — rolling out to staging environments starting July 15th, with production deployments scheduled for July 29th.
This release is packed with powerful enhancements aimed at boosting usability, adding automation, and giving you more control over your pricing environment. Here's what’s new in 2.8:
Major Upgrades to Price Grids
Grids are at the core of many workflows, and this release brings a long list of improvements. You can now include fields from related PriceList tables directly in your grid views, giving you more flexibility to build context-rich overviews. We've introduced a floating filter option to make column-level filtering faster and more intuitive, and when saving Live Grids, you can now assign a custom name — making organization and navigation easier than ever.
The naming logic for system-generated grids has also been improved to better reflect their origin, whether from an object or a search. For PEPE users, you can now calculate the build-up on demand and view value deltas to track changes more precisely. Exporting has been refined to match exactly what you see in your current view, and we’ve fixed the 500 error that some users encountered when loading the grids overview.
Other enhancements include a smarter line marker that now supports colored columns, cleaner grid options that only highlight differences across versions, and live updates to grid rows as data changes in the system — keeping everything accurate in real time.
Smarter Scraping Alerts
Staying informed about scraping results is now easier with two new alert types. You’ll be notified when there’s an unusual drop in matched product count, helping you catch issues early. Plus, you’ll receive alerts when new articles match your criteria - so nothing slips through the cracks.
Redesigned Notifications Area
The Notifications area has been fully rebuilt to give you a clearer, more flexible way to stay on top of what’s happening. The UI has been redesigned with simplicity in mind, and running processes now live in their own separate area for better visibility. You can now mark all notifications as read, clear them in bulk, and even perform bulk actions across selected items.
We’ve also added the ability to customize how and where you receive notifications, giving you full control over your alert channels and settings.
Introducing Automations – Phase One
Version 2.8 lays the foundation for automation across the platform with a brand-new Automations section in the main menu. From here, you can view and manage all existing automations in a central overview. Clicking into any automation brings up an edit screen, where you can define triggers, select referenced objects, and configure logic flows using a straightforward visual interface.
Conditions and actions are chosen from a smart list based on the selected object, and the system generates the necessary procedures and event subscriptions automatically upon saving. This first phase supports multiple referenced objects, pulls in fields from joining tables, and processes everything in batches — all while maintaining a clean, linear flow.
Plus ... More Fixes and Enhancements
As always, we’ve included a number of under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes to keep everything running smoothly.
We can’t wait for you to explore everything version 2.8 has to offer. If you have any questions or want a walkthrough of the new features, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Customer Success contact or visit our updated documentation.
